Hearing aids will change your life!

Free Hearing Aid Trials
Purchasing a set of hearing aids shouldn’t be a financial risk. We have all heard stories about people who put their hearing aids in a drawer and never take them out again, or people who take their hearing aids out of their ears when things get noisy. This is a big investment for you, and North Star Hearing respects that investment. We want to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your hearing aid purchase, and we want you to tell everyone you know how much you love them!
All of our hearing aids come with a minimum 30-day trial period, which we can extend if needed. This free trial allows you to bring your hearing aids home and into your unique daily world and ensure they are comfortable, beneficial, and worth your health investment.
Having a window of opportunity to try out your hearing aids without commitment allows you to ensure that the type and style of hearing aid you have chosen is the right fit. Not everyone has the same sound preferences, and part of our job is to ensure that we fit you with a device that works for you.
All of our hearing aids include:
- An extensive warranty program with full hearing aid coverage
- Complimentary batteries
- Complimentary hearing aid care kit
- Complimentary hearing aid accessories
- Complimentary hearing aid clean & checks
- Complimentary service appointments
While “test-driving” your new hearing aids, we recommend that you:
- Wear the hearing aids as much as possible. Your brain needs time to get used to hearing all of life’s sounds again!
- Bring them into different environments to see how they operate.
- Test out Bluetooth streaming with your phone or tablet.
- Come see us one or two weeks later for adjustments and to answer any questions you have.
Common concerns
We work with all medical hearing aid companies in Canada and with all types of hearing aids.
Benefits
- Social connectionsImproved communication and social interactions: Hearing aids can help improve your ability to hear and understand others, making social situations and communication with friends, family, and colleagues easier and more enjoyable.
- Quality of lifeBetter overall quality of life: Hearing loss can have a negative impact on your overall quality of life, including your relationships, emotional well-being, and mental health. By improving your hearing, hearing aids can help you feel more engaged and connected to the world around you.
- SafetyEnhanced safety: Hearing aids can help you hear important sounds, such as a smoke alarm, a car horn, or a knock at the door, which can improve your safety in various situations. Flooded sinks often happen for people with hearing loss; the sound of running water is less apparent or gone altogether, and when those sounds are absent, it's easier to forget.
- Cognitive functionImproved cognitive function: Research has shown that hearing loss can lead to cognitive decline, including memory loss and a reduced ability to process information. By treating your hearing loss with hearing aids, you may be able to prevent or slow down cognitive decline.
- Physical healthBetter physical health: Hearing loss has been linked to a number of physical health problems, including an increased risk of falls and other accidents, as well as depression and anxiety. By improving your hearing with hearing aids, you may be able to reduce your risk of these and other health problems.
